  1. I very much like this scene. Growing up, despite my love for the Superman/Lois Lane/Clark Kent triangle, I was always somewhat bothered by the fact that someone as smart as her could not find out earlier that the two men she spent the most time with were one and the same. I'm glad they ditched that for these movies. I was also wondering if since they had Lois find out, would they have Lex find out. Glad that was the case, too. He's the smartest Human on the planet. He had better found out, too…

  2. Question, do they mention age w Lois and Clark in the books, cause I know sone people had brought it up w the fact the actress she is older then Henry. Just wondering😌

  3. The one thing I've noticed is the actress that played his birth mother is a Israeli actress, I wonder on what made the casting director choose her. Don't get me wrong I loved her performance and couldn't if pictured any one else w Russell, I just though it was such a interesting choice.

  4. This really highlights why Amy Adams is so perfect for Lois Lane. Her "innocent" features and aura, and charming/charismatic personality, makes it VERY believable that people would just "open up" to her, and tell her everything she needs. They "feel" they can just trust her…and we can believe that.

(Random note: Especially after seeing her at Ma Kent's doorstep, I can't help picturing this Lois as having a past as a Girl Scout. Appropriate, considering a certain typical description of Superman….)

  5. Seriously, given how perceptive Lois is, other media always depected her as an idiot for not figuring out who Superman was. Here, in this movie, she pretty much figured it right away (or rather, searched and succeeded in finding his identity). Good job, Man of Steel, for making her smarter than all her other depections.

  6. Hands down! Zach Snyder's "Man of Steel" is the best Superman movie I have seen in my life thus far! This movie is absolutely phenomenal in my opinion! I find the story, scientific concepts, philosophical ideas, acting, directing, music, cinematography and visual effects to be just powerful! It is definitely one of my favorite movies. I would even say it is one of the top ten films so far from the 2010s decade, along with "Cloud Atlas", "Les Miserables", "Coriolanus", "The Great Gatsby", "Exodus: Gods and Kings" and "12 Years A Slave".

  7. "The only way to disappear completely is to stop helping people altogether, and I sense that's not an option for you."

She got that right. One of the comics get into that in rather gory detail. I mean, because of your super hearing, you constantly hear people screaming for help. And if you let yourself loose for a bit, people will have to redraw the map, assuming the humanity isn't wiped out. Taking over the world? That's COMPLETELY beneath Superman. I mean, what's the point of taking over a world made of cardboard?

Even Lex had a moment in All-Star Superman where he got a fragment of Superman's powers, and boom, the first thing he saw was that everything was connected, and realizing how he can help to better the world. Taking over the world or doing something selfish didn't even come across his mind, simply because those things are completely beneath to someone with Superman's powers. Well, at least to a sane person (Zod is not so sane).

  8. just realized amy adams and the actor who played dr emile in smallville are both in man of steel how many other actors from smallville are in it.

  9. Ladies and Gentlemen, identity of Superman was found by a reporter in days, but for some reason, the world's greatest detective couldn't do that.

  10. I always hoped they would have shown Martha Kent telling Lois off after she approached her about Clark like a fierce mama bear.

  11. For some he was a guardian angel, for others he was a ghost… but one thing's for sure.. he made all of them dripping wet

  12. This movie is amazing, it's too bad the DCEU never made a movie this good again ( though Wonder Woman did come close).

  13. i hate they change this in dc comic superman identity superman is the one who revealed his identity to lois in the movie lois the one who know superman secret identity

  14. Am I the only one who always wanted her to mind her own damn business?
Without her butting in, there wouldn't have been a big battle, the others wouldn't have co me after continually hearing about miracles that just kept happening . She's the reason the city got destroyed.
I really hate can't stand her.

  15. Never realized Ma Kent worked at Sears. Snyder going for that verisimilitude in BvS by having her work at a diner, considering Sears is closing down stores left and right in real life. Plus the Smallville Sears probably got blown up in MoS anyway.

  16. I found Lois Lane in this movie as the most annoying character in existence. Just something so frustrating and annoying about her

  17. On a side note your birth father didn't care whether they're reject you or not seeing as how they can't actually do anything to you. Under normal circumstances.

  18. She was a journalist but can't figure out her flying boyfriend and her clumsy coworker was the same dude just because of glasses? Lol!
Lois was created at the same time as Superman..you can tell how those generation views women /sighs/. Thank God the time is changing.

  19. you know what the truth when the real time come all this superheroes movie does not appear or help at all.. you guys to much on superhero movies… you guys are funny..better be careful because you all waiting for nothing…. (M.S @ MSFS_PEOPLE)

  20. I wish they built up the chemistry between lois and Clark a bit more. To me it felt rushed. Should of just left it at Clark saving her in the ship and then build the chemistry in the second film.

  21. Louis lanes investigative journalism is a serious threat and an abomination to today’s news agencies and other form of journalism, it will face strong resistance and coordinated attacks to silence her and her type.

  22. when i look at this movie, and this clip especially, is a lot of people who were on the smallville series XD

  23. – The only way to disappear completely is to stop helping people altogether
    – Or just snap the neck of the only person who's bothered to track me down
    * awkward moment *

  24. Superman knew about Lois searching for him all the way along but never wanted to show up. Wow
