How to paint jeans : Using Tracing Paper to Paint Jeans

Let’s say you want to do a stencil. Very easy.
What you’re going to need is your velum or tracing paper. This is actually what the paper
looks like. You tear a sheet off. You’re going to lay it over your design. Then you’re going
to take a Sharpie or a pen and you’re going to trace over the design. Then you’re going
to flip it over. You’re going to fill it in with a charcoal pencil. You’re going to lay
it on your jeans and rub it off. I’m going to show you how to do that. Let’s say that
this was a stencil. Basically, it’s a design. You take your Sharpie. You copy the design.
I’m just going to do a little bit to show you here. Then you’re going to flip it over.
You’re going to fill it in with your charcoal really quick. Of course, yours would be much
better filled in than this. Then you’re going to lay in on your jeans and you’re going to
rub it off. Then once your charcoal is on there, you just paint right over it. Very
easy.
